Default Eyal Golan - Kvar Lo Yachol

This was requested to me personally...
Also guys, let me know for future reference if you like this style of how I wrote out the lyrics - do you prefer them to be like this? Like each line translated and transliterated at the same time? Or do you prefer the whole song in Hebrew, then transliterated, then translated? Let me know :-)

את כובשת את כל מי שפעם חלם
At koveshet et kol mi she'pa'am chalam
You conquer everyone who once dreamed

    על היופי שלך בעולם
    Al hayofi shelach ba'olam
About your beauty in the world

    את שוברת מיליון חלומות אהבה
    At shoveret milyon chalomot ahava
You break a million love dreams

    בשבילי את אחת יחידה
    Bishvili at achat yechida
For me, you're one and unique

    תני לי להזיע
    Tni li lehazi'a
    Let me sweat

    תני לי להגיע
    Tni li lehagi'a
    Let me arrive/reach

    עד כוכב צפון
    Ad kochav tzafon
    Until northern star

    אני אבנה ארמון
    Ani evneh armon
    I'll build a palace

    תני לי להגשים לך
    Tni li lehagshim lach
    Let me fulfill for you

    כל דבר אביא לך
    Kol davar avi lach
    Everything, I'll bring you

    תני לי להיות הראשון
    Tni li lihyot harishon
    Let me be the first

    כבר לא יכול
    Kvar lo yachol
    I can't anymore (meaning "I can't stand it anymore")

    את גורמת לי לסבול
    At goremet li lisvol
    You make me suffer

אנ'לא יכול ואוהב בך את הכל
An' lo yachol, ve'ohev bach et hakol
I can't (take it), and I love everything in you

    הלילה לא, לא מוכן לישון
    Halyla lo, lo muchan lishon
Tonight no, not prepared to sleep

    לא לעצום אישון
    Lo la'atzom ishon
    Not to close my pupil

    תני לי להיות הראשון
    Tni li lihyot harishon
    Let me be the first

    כבר לא יכול
    Kvar lo yachol
    I can't anymore (meaning "I can't stand it anymore")

    תני לי להיות הראשון
    Tni li lihyot harishon
    Let me be the first

    את נוגעת בדיוק במקומות רגישים
    At noga'at bedyuk bimkomot regishim
You touch exactly in sensitive places

    מטריפה לי את כל החושים
    Matrifa li et kol ha'chushim
    Drive my senses crazy

    את ירח זורח מלא ועגול
    At yare'ach zore'ach maleh ve'agol
You're the moon, shining full and round

    מסנוורת אותי בגדול
    Mesanveret oti begadol
    You dazzle me in general

    תני לי להזיע
    Tni li lehazi'a
    Let me sweat

1inmillion That was a beautiful song and a very beautiful translation and transliteration. I think this is the best way of posting a translation, line by line and each line containing the transliteration after the hebrew words and then the translation as the last line. This way onde would first try to struggle reading the Hebrew text first, then one could check the transliteraton to find out how accurate the trial had been while trying to guess the meaning before reading the translation finally reading the translation and trying to find out what was the word never heard or read before You know, this process only happens line by line, so it is great with the format that you are kindly posting here.

1inmillion this word " Lehagshim" which means fullfillment here, does it have any thing to do with the word" Hageshem" which is the rain?
because rain is fullfilling too? It just came to my mind.

Thank you again for this song. I hope I heard it one day, and one day I see Eyal Golan performing singing this song+ all the other songs I love which he songs Ok all of us here on the Hebrew lyrics section together That would be Great!

No problem at all! Anytime I can help I would be glad to :-)

    About the word "lehagshim" להגשים:

That's a very interesting thought...I'm actually not sure. My first reaction was no, but as I thought about it I realised that I'm probably not qualified to say...I actually never thought about that. Makes me feel kind of dumb actually haha, but I don't know...I'll ask someone else and get back to you!
    Excellent question!

    :-D
