    Default Yippee Ki Yi Yay sung by calf

    I'm trying to find a video/song I saw on TV years ago. Here's what I can remember about it:
    1) it must have been a cowboy song--it had that rhythm, and then, of course, the only lyrics that I remember (yippee ki yi yay, yippee yippee yi yay) are cowboy lyrics; 2) all the singing was done by lip-synching cows as they walked slowly, and those lyrics I remember were done by a little calf, as a kind of refrain, in the cutest voice; 3) I have an idea it was on PBS. I hope someone can help me--thank you!

    I love those lip synching cows! None of those was the right song, though. I'm wondering--if it was part of a children's show on PBS, would it still count as a song? Ingrid

    The song is "cow cow boogie". I found versions by Ella Fitzgerald as well as the Judds on You Tube. I still can't find video of the cows, but that is DEFINITELY the song. Change search term "yippee ki yi" to "com-a-tie-yi" and you might have better luck.     PS I used to see it during / after Disney movies on major network channels, not sure about PBS.
