Default Rock song, "hey oh" followed by a guitar riff (NOT RHCP's "Snow")

    Hello everyone.
I'm dying a little inside because I'm unable to identify this rock song: I couldn't get a "clean" listen because of environmental noises, but I'm positive that the main riff is composed by a male voice singing "hey oh" and followed by a short electric guitar solo. I've managed to compose a very, very crude reproduction of said guitar riff, available at http://www.mediafire.com/?hz54ncbr847xbis

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help

OK. I am 95% sure I have it. Try "Layla" by Derek and the Dominoes. I think the tricky part is that you are mishearing "Lay-La!" in the chorus to be "Hey-oh!" which is kinda how it sounds in the song, especially with ambient noises. The piano riff there simply sounds too much like the guitar riff though to be coincidence. That's your song. Here's a youtube link:

I really hope someday you revisit this page to see if it's right. Let me know if it is or isn't!
