[partly solved] - 2 song snippets from the 70's ..

Hello all, google/any other search engines have not turned up anything about 2 song snippets I recall from 1975-76

1. male singer possibly prog rock, "a capella" segment of song with lyrics .... "ahhhh oh oh ahhhh bit by bit" repeated x1, then "bit by bit, bit by bit, bit by bit". Following that some mention of "daddy" or somesuch ?

2. female singer with other female backing singers, disco style, lyrics... "rock me better so much better" then "yeah yeah" or "better" repeated. Then a lyric which sounds like "roly poly"

Thanks for your response atmaster, but that's not the one - definitely the main chorus went "Rock me better so much better baby (?better), followed by a short horn flourish

still diggin ..

I only found one song with the title "Rock Me Better" but it's by Dale Morgan (male artist).


So here's some more desperation guesses..
