Someone sings this song,but who?

I have a song i can't find either.I've looked up and down and all around,still can't find it.I've tried everything in the book,in my power to find it,and still can't! the lyrics go like this "I feel like singing i'm in the mood"....but it may sound like he's saying "i feel like singing under the moon".

My mother heard it and she says the moody blues sing it.if so,which song? it's an older late 70's early 80's song.it's also a hit song.it's eating at me like cancer to find this song.

I strongly doubt she sings this song,i really do.She may in fact sing those lines in one of her songs,but i don't think she does in this song.This isn't a country song i'm after.it's more of a rock song with a sweet guitar melody tune to it.I thinkkkkk moody blues sings,again not sure here.I was tols they sing it,but that person wasn't sure.
