Also the only lyrics i could pick up where ".......... with another man" the the chours comes in.

She also might start her chorus by singing "oh you aint got............." but not to sure on that.

    Wink Oldies 50's song - - I'm positive!!!

It's been on the tip of my tongue for 2 days - "What IS that song?? I KNOW that song!!!!". Finally, I thought of it. The title is "Bread and Butter". Not sure of the artist, but I thought it was all male singers, even the one with the high-pitched voice. Might be called "Peaches and Cream"(the artists), now that I think of it. Part of the chorus goes: "I like bread and butter. I like toast and jam. . . . . with another man." I'm not sure of the words between "jam" and "with", either. Then the male back-up singers go: "No more bread and butter. No more toast and jam. No more (whatever). I'm your loving man." Hope this helps.

    Default Song identification

Do you mean "BREAD AND BUTTER" by: The Newbeats?

    Default

Might be. I was thinking Peaches & Cream or Peaches & Herb. But since I obviously am not sure, it very well may be The Newbeats. But there is no doubt in my mind about the title and lyrics. I know this is the song they want.

Thumbs up old fifties song - help

    I like bread and butter,
    I like toast and jam,
That's what my baby feeds me,
    I'm her loving man.

    He likes bread and butter,
    He likes toast and jam,
That's what his baby feeds him,
    He's her loving man.

    She don't cook mashed potatoes,
    She don't cook T-bone steaks,
    Don't feed me peanut butter,
She knows that I can't take.

    He likes bread and butter,
    He likes toast and jam,
That's what his baby feeds him,
    He's her loving man.

    Got home early one morning,
    Much to my surprise,
She was eating chicken and dumplings
    With some other guy.

    No more bread and butter,
    No more toast and jam,
    I found my baby eating
    With some other man.
