Need help with a misterious melody

Hi

This is some music from 80's I think. Last time I heard it was in late 80's I think, but I was reminded of it recently when there was some TV commercial selling CD's with compilation of some retro music. They played a segment of it, but that's all.

I remember the melody. I think the song is instrumental.

Don't take my word for it but I think the main melody is played on an electric guitar

I've recorded the part I remembered in wav on a keyboard. I've used piano sound, because that's the bread and butter sound, but I think the melody was played on an electric guitar.
