Looking for R&B song for 15 years....I know lots of words but I need help!

Hi,

I have been looking for the name of a song for almost 15 years! The song came out anywhere from 1989-1991 (I think?). It is an R&B song sung by a woman. I know basically most of the first verse and chorus but no search engine's have worked to help me find the song title and artist. Here are the words I remember below. If you can help I will be forever grateful!

Verse 1: "Last night I dreamed we were together,

That song is from the movie The Hevenly Kid it is called Climbing to the Heart of Love and is sung by Jamie Bond according to the movie credits, although I don't know where to find the song.....If you do find it let me know.
