Need help identifying a song..

Alas.
My memory is too crappy to remember the name, artist or the lyrics.
Although, I'll give you some info on the music video if it helps..

The video seems quite dark. It's not a bright modern video.
It's been on the music channels a few times..

Well, there's a girl, black hair?
She's wearing REALLY tall high heels..
I think there's a bit where she's sitting down, she's got a pair of scissors.. cutting something in time to the song, perhaps it was a doll.. that's what has stuck in my mind, probably wrong.

I'm sure there's a part where she's having trouble getting down the stairs..
The singer in the song is a guy, you see him in the video..

There's also a horse near the end of the video.
The video ends, I think.. When the girl is lying on the floor, the horse rears up and 'apparently' stamps on her face... eh, yeah. xD

So, if anyone has the SLIGHTEST idea of what this song is called/the artist, PLEASE PLEASE tell me.
I won't get any sleep otherwise.
