The only lyrics that I can place are something like ´... but I don't know why." This is possibly followed by fast violins.
The line before it could be "I`d do anything for you..." or " --------- black and blue." and no it isn't Meat Loaf! It's a summery indie song a la Magic Numbers. Male vocals. Maybe American. The other lyrics that I believe are in there somewhere are "talk about it". The song is so vivid as if I know it so well that it must have been released in the last 12 months and played on the radio. So shouldn't be that obscure.

It's also quite fast. Someone suiggested to me Badly Draw Boy or "What katie Did" by the Libertines but it's got a quicker tempo.
I know it's not much to go on but please someone help me!
