Okay. Circa 1995, I taped a snippet of this song off St. Louis radio. They had a British DJ at the time, who played all sorts of great pop from all over the world. He identifies this song as being by "The Business" -- but as far as I know, the Business is a metalhead kinda band, and this is a pop tune with a high-pitched female lead vocal.
I MP3'd the snippet here:

(1.3Meg MP3 file, awful sound quality.)
Anybody know what this was, what it's called, and where I can get a better copy of it??

This might sound really off but my girlfriend is english and when she rambles with her slang I can not understand her at all. Saying a word before a sentence is supposed to be said etc.I think what the dj was refering to in this instance was "they are the business" meaning slang for that is how its done etc etc. He might of refered to the band as being pompeii or something similar and then gave the location. Just an idea to kick around altho it really doesnt seem so the way its said. He could of just been going off about what the town of pompeii or whatever is known for in breaks. Ill let my girl have a listen and see if she can break it down for ya.
