Default Solved: I need help with this song!!!!!!

Hello, I recorded this song in 1993 from the radio but i cannot remember who are them:

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JASJ1ILR

"you left on the late-night train
    i saw you
    i called your name
jealous of all the time ahead
    in your new life
we had such good times together
    we fought forever
they all thought we were brothers
    we didn't care

now we live in different ways
    just two memories, absent friends

how i want you home again
    want you right back home
how i want you home again

it's funny how when you look back
    it's always the rosy side
it's funny how we can't see that
    it's human pride
maybe we're scared to turn back
to rewind (?), and move on
maybe we even have some right (this line does not soudn like this to me, but I can't make out anything better)
    to cover our tracks

and we live in different ways
    just two memories, absent friends

how i want you home again
    want you right back home
how i want you home again"

    Thanks!!

not to be rude, but i think the chorus goes something like this:
"how i want you home again
    won't you ride back home
how i want you home again"

but after listening to it again, either of our chorus' could very easily fit.

and you do have the second section correct as far as i can tell, but I personally would put a question mark after fight, cause it doesn't quite sound correct to me, but I could be wrong. Truth be told, I don't have the slightest idea what they are saying in that part. In fact, I had no idea what they were saying till I read your lyrics. It's a good song. I hope you find out what it's called so maybe everyone who now wants to know can look up the lyrics and compare them to yours to see if you did get it right in the more questionable areas.

in case you don't know where I got the song from, i'll post the link. i found it on another page within this forum cause their are 3 people, including you, looking for this song. here's the link: http://www.goear.com/files/external.swf?file=e355a25.

sorry i could be of more help.

    Thank you for answering...
I think the lyrics are something like this:

"you left on the late night train
    i saw you
    and called your name
there's a lot of the time ahead?
    and a whole new life?
we had such good times together
    we fought forever
they all thought we were brothers
    we didn't care

now we live in different ways
just two memories (just too many loose) absent friends

how (aahh?) i want you home again
    won´t you ride back home
how (ahh?) i want you home again

it's funny how when you look back
it's always the road so sad
it's funny how we can't see that
    it's human pride (right?)
maybe we're scared to turn back
to live on and move on
maybe we even have some right
    to cover our tracks

and we live in different ways
just two memories (just too many loose), absent friends

how (aahh?) i want you home again
    won´t you ride back home
how (ahh?) i want you home again"

    And I think:

1.I recorded it in 1.993 and the song is a mod or powerpop song between 84 and 88
2.I sounds to Squeeze, Only ones or new wave
3.The group name could be "Release" but i am not sure
4.It sounds similar to Paul Heaton (Housemartins)...

    Pues son:

The Rileys - whirlygig EP (1992)

Y la canción parece ser que es "Dreamsway"

The Rileys – Dreamsway. Puro Pop.
