Tough One: Song/Singer from Video!

All I remember is that this song was on MTV almost non-stop a couple of years ago.
Female artist, the video was an animation that showed a female character leaving a house and driving in a car, the cityscape passing, I remember nothing else about the song or video.

It could be Roxette or Garbage. They had animation videos, but i can† remeber titles of the songs!

I'm sure the video was something like ... girl wakes up, leaps from the house into a car, drives to venue, gets on stage and sings!

Any ideas?
