Default I think I have it

Yeah It sounds familliar. can u tell what the main instrument was synthisised?

The more I listen the more I think it's Adventure Begins. Fro Remo Williams.
It all fits. Synth, jingle like oriental in nature. Try this on for size.

NOMAD you have made some awesome suggestions & requested somemore info from me which i will post for others as it may help in this futile search.
This is a song i have heard on the radio twice. Once I heard it (Not sure) but I was sure it was on a retro 80's Sunday radio.I also heard it about a month ago mixed into break beat (break dancing beats) track on 93.3 radio. I wrote and phoned the radio station to try & track it down. They gave me the dj's name & email but I never heard back from him. This song I love was mixed into the track & I only heard it for about 30 seconds. It was the track forsure though. The first time I heard it, it was the orignial track & not mixed into another song. It lasted qutie sometime & would estimate 4-5 minutes. This is the first time I have attempted to explain the song this way but it reminds me of something MOBY would play with the continuous loops in the song with the addition of another sound in the song after each loop. Kinda like Plastic Dreams as it continues to add a sound after each loop. I still think the synth is tuned to sound like a harp NOMAD. I hope this helps somewhat. I will talk to you guys soon. Keep the suggestions coming fast & furious. I am banking so much on you GURUS finding this for me.

The last one is Childeren by Robert Miles, If that is close. The try the rest of his works. also try Jean Michael Jarre. Oxygen. It has a similar sound.

You mentioned you heard it as a blend in a break beat mix. 80's old school breakdance musi incorporated alot of remix that omited the vocal track. are you quite certain there were no vocals?
because some of the artists used far eastern, middle easter, / hindi sounds.
When you say Oriental in nature be more specific if you can. IE: Indian, Egyptian, Chineese Japanese. etc.
I ask this is Midnight star had Egyptian lover, and Don't Stop the rock.
CCCP had American Soviet. they had an eastern / oriental feel. but they had lyrics.

If you ever find the piece you're searching for you really must foreward it to me.

It is instumental with no lyrics.
It is synthesizer all the way.
It sounds like an oriental jingle to me.
I would say that it was made in the 80's (but not sure about that, as it could be early 90's)

I know it is a wonder i have never found this song with such vague information. If anybody out there has any idea please let me know. I am dying to find out the name of this song. Until i have it on my MP3 player i can't go on. lol.
Thanks gang
Any help is appreciated.

Is it yollow or yellow? I'm confused. either way. I can't pull it up.
Never mind. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black , You should really clean up your own spelling b4 u get onto another. It's Yellow Magic Orcastra. Anyway Padawan.
These are my last two options. If these aren't it. A then there's no pleasing you B. Your song is only in your head. C. the next time you hear it you better be carrying a recording device, or make a complete fool of yourself and yell out WHAT'S THIS SONG!!!
To everyone around you..
Given what info you have. this is my limit of knowledge.

Well NOMAD. You have been a warrior but neither of those are it. Although Aqua Harp is a nice song. I have to admitt that YMO really has the potentail to be the creator of this song even though i havent found it yet. They kinda have to same style as the song i am looking for and that coupled with the fact they are from the 80's. I will keep on trucking until i find this song. Keep the suggestions coming guys. Thanks

I'm not expecting this to be it, but I thought I should try anyway. It doesn't fit some of your description but I thought of this as soon as I read your original post. And then when you mentioned Moby I figured I'd make sure this wasn't it. I had a similar experience that you're having with this song, and was very excited when I finally found it.

Moby - Porcelain

No mrsisk it is definately not porcelain. This is a very sexy tune though & one i listen to from time to time. Thanks for the suggestion. Some of you guys have got me onto Japennese Techno Pop and the more i listen to it i think it sounds alot like YMO. I have gone through alot of their tunes already & it does have a very similar sound, meaning they could have created this song. It also fits that genre i originally described because i am sure i heard it on a retro 80's station the first time. This song is an oriental jingle type song guys. Sounds like a synth harp. Read my original post for my description. Come on guys, i feel like i am getting on track and close to this song for the first time ever. There are NO WORDS in this track. We can do it.
Thanks

Can you try to record a few more bars on an instrument such as keyboard?
What you gave us simply didn't trigger it.
I really am racking my brain here, cause everytime I play your little soundbite. I come up with Adventure begins by Craig Safan
or even the tune from the last starfighter. also Safan. then there is of all things the second season of space 1999 that keeps poping into my head. these are all jingle esque. I need a bit more I think.'
Now if there were folks out there trying to help me like they are you. perhaps my insanity can be cured.
See Who is the lyrical master. or My head will implode.

Could it be "Lucifer's Friend" by the UK band Vision?

It sounds a little Eastern, I suppose. It's not an instrumental, but the music-to-lyrics ratio is pretty big, and anytime I'd heard it in my life I could never remember it having words. Maybe it was used without the vocal track?

Sorry, but I figure it's worth a shot...

Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence by Ruichi Sakamoto? It's the soundtrack of the film with the same title. In this version the "ding dong" part start at after around 1 minute.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkWjs...eature=related

Then there's a version with lyrics sung by David Sylvian and even though the music is the same the name of the song is Forbidden Colurs. You can search it on youtube.
