One Year Searching A Song

HI!I´m searching a song i only have a few lyrics because i´m spanish and don´t understand well all the lyrics.
The song is some Crowded House/Finn Bros./power pop ballad maybe/ style
there´s a part that says:"my friends are crazy don´t you know ,you never ¿go?"
and other part ,maybe the chorus ,says:"when they all comes down to love.....you are wasting (or wasted) repeat (some words aproximate) and a short guitar solo ,the singer has a high tone voice
Well i know it´s no easy but maybe somebody can help me
