Please Help!! Been tryin to figure this song out for about 3 years now!!

Hey everyone,

First I wanted to say hello to everyone out there, and I also wanted to thank allthelyrics.com for having me

Now on to the song that is absolutely driving me crazy!! I have been trying to figure out this song for about 3 years or so, and it is constantly popping up in my head, but I swear if I don't figure out the song and artist I am going to pull all my hair out!! Just imagine how ridiculous I will look then!!(HE, HE)

Anyway I cannot figure out for the life of me who the artist is who sings this song or what the song is called, and I have searched everywhere: PLEASE HELP!!

Only lyrics I can remember:

Piece of lyrics:---- "Blam, Blam, everybody just hit d floor, ??? dance no more"



Well that's it that's all I can remember and that is one of the reasons this song is so hard to figure out.

I believe this Jamaican artist is from Canada, (but I'm not positive because he could be from the US).

I think the artist might be reggae but he could also be rap, I'm not sure.

I used to see the video all the time in the mid 90's(I think) on Much Music here in Canada.

The song is about a party being broke-up by a shooting, and I believe 1 person is shot in the video but my memory is pretty foggy.

The video is in the black and white style, and the artist is standing on metal stairs or a club entrance landing.

Also at the point of the above lyrics the artist makes a shooting motion with his fingers.

The artist is a husky guy and I believe he is wearing a Muslim type hat.

I don't remember this artist having any other hits so he might be a 1 hit wonder.

I found this on another site but the song you're looking for is called "Safe" and it's by a Canadian Hip-Hop/Reggae artist called Rumble. You can download it from limewire (limewire.com) music downloading network. (The CD has been discontinued)
