Looking for 90's dance song!

Hi i've been looking for almost 15 years off and on for this tune. Was being played in this one bar around '95-'98.
It had a heavy synthesizer dance beat that went da da..dadadada..dadadada..da.da.dadadada..then a deep black dude Afrikan Bombaataa type voice saying something like "shake your mind, shake shake your mind" then da.da. dadadada.dadadada.da.da.dadadada.
I know it's not much to go on and i may be wrong 'bout the lyrics but there it is.
Funny thing is i went up to the dj one night and asked him but i was too hammered to remember what he said.
Oh another thing this bar was pretty backwards so it wouldn't have been a hard song to find back then.
It was probably on a various artists cd at the time or some **** like that.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
