Dance song...help

Hi everyone...my name is Eddie and I'm trying to make a cd for my girlfriend, of really great dance songs. But there's a song that has got me going crazy in trying to find it...i'm hoping one of you have heard it and can tell me who sings it. Now bare with me as I only know a few lines. Its in the same genre of 'Motorcycle - as the rush comes.' Ok, here are the few lines I know:

'I want to be your girlfriend....girlfriend...do you want to be my boyfriend?' (then this great beat comes in) and she repeats the lyrics.

I love this song and its beat...I know its not a lot, but it was worth a shot to post.
