here's a real challenge

I'm looking for a song I haven't heard in years, and it's driving me crazy. Here's all I know about it. Any help you can give me would be extremely appreciated.


-This song was on the radio in 1998. I don't know how old it is in the first place, but it is at least eight years old.

-It's sung by a male. I don't know if it is a band or a solo artist, but there is a male vocal in the song.

-I think it's about a bar that's closing. I don't remember all of the exact lyrics, but I THINK the song mentions boys and girls, and that it's too late to buy drinks.

I know I don't have much, but if this rings any bells at all, please help me. Thank you.
