Looking for song/artist

I'm trying to identify a song I heard a while ago. I know the song title, artist, and refrain, but searches for information on the song or artist have turned up nothing except for a broken link. I've called all the music stores I can think of, but none of them have heard of the song or the artist.

The artist is The Real Jackie Paper.

The title of the song is "You Give a Kiss, I'll Give a Thimble."

The refrain goes:
"Yeah, they may hide you away
And never listen to what you say
You give a kiss; I'll give a thimble
I'll have forever for now"

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
