This is killing me can someone please help me figure out what song im thinking of????

ok i heard this song im pretty sure its fairly new....here are some tips

1. it is by a artist who sounds like the singer from The Fray, that type of voice and same type of music like The Fray sounds like also Howie Day also music and voice

2. the most i can remeber about the song is the chorus...its like...."Don't close your eyes, don't close your eyes^^^" he says it twice and the second time his voice acsends, his pitch of his voice gets higher, its followed right after the first time he says it.....
so its "don't close your eyes, don't close your eyes^^^ don't close your eyes....
this is (blank) (blank) " and im ( not sure... falling,flying....idk)

3. I think heard it on like soft rock or pst radio staion something of the sort
