Question This is a tough one!

This song that I'm searching for has evaded me my whole life. I've heard it on the radio several times, but never caught the title or artist. Heck, I even saw the music video once, but got no info. The only info I know is that, it must be 80's or early 90's, sung by a woman, the music itself is very beautiful/soothing, and the only lyrics I can remember go something like 'all right now, take me(?) .......' (not sure about the second line, but the its definitely 'all right now') and she sounds almost celtic. Someone, somewhere must know what I'm talking about!!! PLEASE HELP!

I downloaded most of Enya's songs in the hope that the one I'm looking for was it. But no dice!

Bjork has a unique voice like that too, sorry I only know a few of her songs, she was never that popular in the US, but maybe you can find more info.

    Talking

    I heard it again!!!

Last night when I was going to bed, I was just briefly scanning the radio and it was midway thru the song! I wrote down some of the lyrics that I could catch.

something like: 'O bright light.......change every day' (seemed to be the chorus)

also: 'never quite as it seems'....'dream to me, yea, dream to me'

then the female singer seems to 'yoddle' or something like that.

    ANYONE please HELP!!

You have no idea how long I've been searching for this song, probly 15 years now. Most evasive song ever!

Hi, the song that you're looking for is called "Dreams" by an Irish band called "The Cranberries". It was released about 1993-4-ish I think.

(P.S. It was covered by Dario G in 2001 under the title "Dream To Me").

    Hope this helps !!

    Matt.

Wow, I've just downloaded it and am listening to it right now. You have no idea how much this means to me.

    I cannot thank you enough.

    I'll 'pay it forward'.
