    Question Solved: Melody with whistling

I was in a Whole Foods store the other day and heard this great song. I instantly remembered it from the 50-60s, pop AM music. It had a bright bouncy Asian melody that repeated often and was followed by whistling the melody, single guy singing and whistling. I am going crazy trying to find out what it was. I asked Whole Foods but they said it was a satellite radio station that they didn't even know the name of the station. Any ideas?

IN Hawaii, we say Mahalo Nui, or thanks very much. You must very good..... it was a great song and a tragic singer..... strange that the original video was about pollution but my Japanese friend said it was a big issue in the early 60s when this song came out. Now I can listen whenever I want.
    Thanks again
