Exclamation Something thats not?....can't find song

I heard a song in a store and I loved it but I could not find out the title or artist The only lyrics that I remember are "Searching for something thats....." The song had a good beat that was almost disco-e but it sounded more modern, so I'm thinking its not too old. I would really appreciate anyones help on this, its just driving me crazy! Thanks for reading

Is the singer male or female? Here are a few songs that are strictly guesses.

Stacie Orrico - (There's Gotta Be) More To Life http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLNTTicuY4c

Natalie Grant - Love Without Limits http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgHvBHkz0h4

3 Doors Down - The Silence Remains http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaLgZMWv_cE

Chris Brown - Another You http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5Ju8lpU1b0

    ALO - Maria http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxdXgYVM9bw

    Here are some more.

    Colby O'Donis - Under My Nose http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dvzx7xV26G8

Kottonmouth Kings - Lookin Out My Window http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgjjXGjK-z4

    Mad Child - Freedom http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DCJCsXMzuU

Another question for you. In the topic title you place "Something that's not". Is it possible that those can be lyrics you heard in the song or is it just reflective upon it being a mystery?

I don't really remember, it could be but I'm not sure, I have a terrible memory. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I listened to all the links and none seem to sound right. It was an upbeat song, youngish guy voice, disco-y beat, and those lyrics, other than that I remember nothing I'm sorry. Thank you for all you help, it means a lot! I will continue my search....

You're welcome anytime. Don't ever be sorry. It definitely happens. I've had hints that led people down a dead end. Only for it to be way off once I found the song. You did just fine. Remain positive. I will continue to search as well.

Those are cool songs, but they are not the right voices, I don't think the singer had an accent. Does anyone know any good lyric sites where you type in th e lyrics and they give you options to what song it could be?
