50s (?) novelty song

This song was sung by a woman, talking about her boyfriend. The lyrics said something about him wearing 'pink sunglasses and a purple hat' I think, and then something about him going to school in a limousine and owning a submarine. I know it said all kinds of things about how he dressed. It was just a silly song, but kinda catchy at the same time, and I can't track it down anywhere....any ideas, folks? My mom would love a copy of it.
