Please ID this track

Hiya all,

Just found this site looking for a method to identify a track I heard at work recently....I really need to find out who it is. Since I have absolutely no idea who sings it, I'd best describe the track in as much detail as I can over text.

I asked a few people at work and the responses were generally 'no idea' or 'Heard it in a movie during a powerful love scene'.

It's a very slow moving track with a haunting female vocal which goes 'Oh oooh aaah (piano), Oh oooh ahh yeah (piano, slightly different pattern)'. The piano is three keys after each vocal.

Yeah great description right lol! Someone please help, I can't get the track out of my head.

Is it "Hey Jupiter" by Tori Amos

Nah, too much vocal :/

It's very minimal....literally the lyrics I described are pretty much all the vocal in the track.

I also immediately thought of Tori Amos, as she is one of my favorites but you said it is definitely not her.

How about Portishead? Could it be any of their tunes?

Could be but can you be more specific? The track is stringy, haunting female vocal with the 3 key piano pattern. There's not much else to the track.

The movie maybe: 'The Jacket' and the song title Sidottu. Very much like you describe, is piano, with a woman sort of haunting sigh. It was palyed during powerful love scene and at other times during the film.

I am trying to the post the url for a download but it won't let me. However if you go to IMBD (internet movie database) and look for the move 'The Jacket', you can find it in one of the discussion threads, titled, 'I need this song'.
