flowers in your hair?

ok so a while ago i heard this song on this radio station... i really enjoyed it it was mostly vocal with some bongos or something in the backround...all i remember are these lyrics:::

" i want to be a punk rocker with flowers in my hair"

and the song was talking about how the singer was born in the wrong era....
any help would be wonderful... =D
