Hello, friends,
since early 80s I'm big fan of new romantic, new wave and dream pop. In those years we had in Poland only one radio presenter, who recommended us such fantastic music. That was Tomek Beksinski - great person. Unfortunately he commited a suicide...
I remember year 1990 or 1991, when Tomek announced some very fantastic dream pop album. I can't remember band name. Album was marvelous!!! Since many years I've been searching it and want to buy, but with no result...
I don't know if it was from 4AD, but music was similar to Cocteau Twins ("Treasure" style). What I remember? Not much. Vocalist was a woman with beautiful voice. Probably the first (or second) track had in its lyrics such phrase: "take me to the garden". And next track had: "the birds must fly moving in the sky. Listen to the song of the birds in the air"... Quite similar to this album is music of Mandalay (track "Don't invent me" from "Solace" album).
I remember melody well - I could even sing it for you! :P
Could anyone tell me, what is that band?
Best regards,
Marcin
