Song or Artist? 1970s Challenge! Lyrics Within!!
I would appreciate any help finding a song and the artists name. Its a blues song that was supposedly performed by an African American woman (noticeable accent).
The song reached me in Moscow (Russia) in about 1979-80 (which places its release roughly before that time).
It was brought to our Universitys campus by one of our foreign
students from Europe.
The singer mumbles a bit, so that I could not get all the lyrics, though still managed to get most of them.
Here is what I got below (it starts from a refrain):
