I heard this song around the mid or late 90's to the early 21th century,
The music is kinada similar to Finch. (alternative rock)
Firstly, the music video has the band playing in a large alley, as they do the song cuts to a man in a room with a woman in the bed, he then walks off into the street shoving and pushing people coming into contact with him; as he does the video cuts to the band playing and vice versa, finally the man reaches the band, pulls the lead cord out of the amps, cutting the music; and the band is left staring at him as he stares back.
Now the only lyric I know from the song, is the one he sings in the chorus
"Avalon" or "Echelon" a couple of times and then he screams something after it.
Lyric: " *Avalon or Echelon* repeat x2; they only want to *something (scream)* "
but I'm not sure, that's just what I remember.
and the prize is my eternal gratitude, jks. I don't know what I would do if someone figured this out.
Why this video reminds me of a movie, because the footage looked good, and the music was sort of in the background, you could hear everyday city life sometimes louder than the song.
