Default need help finding celtic song--please!

dish network plays a wonderful celtic song on their new age channel. problem is I dont know who sings it or what the title is.

Its an irish or scottish woman singing...part of the lyrics are: "when my days are over, and death has come to me."...
It sends with "this land that I adore"
Its a hauntingly beautiful folk song. Can anyone please help? sorry so few lyrics to go by....Frank

Try Enya. Most of her music sounds like that.

    Default not Enya

Thanks for the tip, but clearly not Enya, I have lots of Enya cds, Shepard Moons etc.
The Irish singer in question has a deep, pure Irish brogue to her voice--unmistakeable.

Go to the following website npr.org/programs/thistle/
and send your question to Fiona Ritchie at thistle@npr.org
She should be able to help answer your question.

Erin go Bragh! (and no I am not a Notre Dame fan)

    Are these the lyrics?

Land Of The Sea And Sun Baha Men lyrics
    Artist: Baha Men
    Album: Junkanoo
    Year: 1992
Title: Land Of The Sea And Sun

    Many nights I sit here
    With memories by the score
Thinking of the days I spent
With the girl I still adore

So I'm goin' back to see her
    Before my days are done
Goin' back to see her in the
Land of the sea and sun

    Once I had a notion
    About this Bajin girl
I put my thoughts in motion
And found my heart in a whirl

So I'm goin' back to see her
    Before my days are done
Goin' back to see her in the
Land of the sea and sun

    Ever since I left her
    Nothing has been the same
I think I'll pull up anchor
I'm going back to give her my name

Oh, many nights I sit here
    With memories by the score
Thinking of the days I spent
With the girl I still adore

Yes, I'm goin' back to see her
    Before my days are done
Goin' back to see her in the
Land of the sea and sun

    Another "close but no cigar"....
I did not find an exact match for your lyrics but I did find a song that's close in meaning..

"Craigie Hill" by various artists or
"Craige Hills" by Srcuj MacDuhk (its the same song and tune but the lyrics are slightly due to oral nature of these songs being pasted from generation to generation)
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

Are you sure it's the new age channel on dish? I've been watching / listening to that channel for 3 hours now and the only thing I get is instrumentals. I checked their web site and it says that channel is instrumentals. I then called them and the rep I spoke with stated that it was instrumentals only.
