identify music with the web

at least i could contribute before i query:

i found the following tools quite usefull:
musicline.de - Die ganze Musik im Internet
to identify by melody somehow
Musipedia: Query By Humming
did a strange job and is more usable to identify melodies and rythms - not with a general proposal output like musicline
Melodyhound: Search within the Music
does a nice job too
if you like desktop tools: tunatic and musicbranz picard could help you.

as far as i found no tool allowed uploading a worse encoded mp3 to analyze the data.
not even paid services seem to be available (oct2006)
could someone point out more ways to id some music?

mine is from a old pre-tape recording transfered by microphone, shall i upload it - where?
