Looking for Song

I have been searching for this song name for a while and nothing has come up. It sounds like a british group, late 80's early 90's. Parts of the lyrics are..."I just want a place I can call my own, have a conversation on the telephone." The chorus seems to end with "Now you are mine". Any help identifying would be so appreciated.
