Can somone please help me ID a rap/hip-hop song from the early 90's dont know who its buy or tha name but it goes something like

"Heads UP (maybe hands up) " im sorry I know thats not much to go by but I know the exact meledy of the beat its a very original sounding beat and is played on the radio alot at night when they play the older stuff please help me someone

I heard this song in American Eagle the other day and was wondering if anyone could help me identify the artist and/or title...

The lyrics were something like "i tried to make you wait" or "you tried to make me wait"...."everybody makes mistakes"....the band kinda sounds like The Killers...

Sounds like the killers??? Check some songs from a band called The Bravery, They sound a little like The Killers. Once I heard a cool song and I thought it was by the killers but then doing some searching it was by a band called the bravery.
And by the words mistake and the rest of the lyrics.. It's probably a song called An Honest Mistake by The Bravery.

Does it say anything like gangtas or something?? Try looking for a song named gangstas paradise by coolio... maybe it's that one if you say it's from the early 90s.

well "born slippy" by underworld has a weird beat and has a kind of rap over it..i think thats from the early 90s..
