I've been hearing the song in the radio station... i just couldn't figure out the title and the artist (male). It's chorus goes like this:

The only thing I can find is reference to a 1980s dance song with the title "Nineteen Six to Eight". If you can contact that radio station and get the scoop on it, you may really have something.
