ANY information you could provide would be greatly appreciated (Group/track title/Album Title)

    Thank you

Recorded from radio between Sept and Nov 1979 as a new release.

    Chorus:

    Suicide (x4)
    There's only one way out
    Nothing left to laugh about
    Go to the basement
    Get the rope
    Hanging from the ceiling
    Lost all hope

    Verse 1:

Woke up this morning with a bottle of pills
Morning post delivered the usual bills
I didn't have two ha'pennies to rub together
And anyway who wants to live forever

    Repeat Chorus

(verse 2 involves the troubles with his girlfriend)

    (bridge)

Put all the crosses in the right boxes (x4)

    Final verse:

    I hung myself that afternoon
Not knowing good luck was overdue
If I had remained in the land of the living
I would have seen my girl return forgiving

    Suicide (x4)
There was only one way out
    Nothing left to laugh about
    Went to the basement
    Got the rope
Now I'm Hanging from the ceiling
    Lost all hope
    (line)
With the morning post and my (eight-score?) dole
