From a movie, I think

I cannot get this out of my head...lyrics probably aren't right, but close...

"Waaaves across the ocean, daaance across the sea"

I believe it is from a movie I saw on TV recently. It is a somewhat slow song, that would be played during a slow motion part of a movie, if you get what I mean.

My unwavering appreciation for any help.

Just FYI, turned out to be "Atlantis" by Donovan, from the Goodfellas soundtrack.....
