I know this is a weird question, but can anybody help me to identify the classical tune/song used for the Ghirardelli Chocolate commercial. For many years I've loved the tune. But I cannot identify the song.
Most people aren't into classical music anymore so they look at me all blank like WHAT? LOL.
DELIBES, Léo (1836-1891)
Pronounced "duh-LEEB". French opera and ballet composer.
Lakmé (opera)
Flower Duet [ LISTEN ] [ LISTEN ] (A pretty opera duet sung by two women, heard in movies like "The American President," "The Mirror Has Two Faces," "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life," and "Meet The Parents," and ads for British Airways and Ghirardelli Chocolate. Also called "Viens, Mallika... Dôme Épais Le Jasmin'," which loosely translated means, "The cheese is old and moldy.")
Sylvia (ballet)
Pizzicato [ LISTEN ] (A pizzicato is a piece played by plucking strings. This particular pizzicato has been heard in lots of radio and TV commercials.)
This may be a decent url for a "classical" look-up table:
