Can't remember the song! Driving me crazy!!!

Okay, I think this song came out in the late 90's. It starts with a telephone conversation between a guy and girl (both voices are actually a guy)...
"Hello" -girl
"Is (can't remember name) there" - guy
"No, she's not in right now" - girl
that is about it of the phone call I remember, except that the girl tells the guy she is actually the person he is calling for, and doesn't want to see him anymore.
Then the music starts playing and goes into the song.
I'm losing my mind trying to think of it. Please help!!!!!
