Lightbulb Updated - No lyrics to go on, so please forgive me

I have discovered that Paul Simon's "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover" starts out with almost exactly the same military type drum solo as the song I'm looking for, except the song described below ends with that same type of drum solo.

This song plays often on soft rock stations, that also play some older songs. It's catchy, but for some reason I just can't remember any of the lyrics or even what it's about. All I know is that I love the drums, particularly the way the song ends with what sounds like a military style drum solo. Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks!!

With the limited data you have provided, I believe the chances of a positive resolution to your request are minimal. Have you considered contacting a radio station that plays that song and asking for their assistance? They probably have a web site which you could use. I have had good results taking that route. Just a thought. If you do get the answer, please post it. Good Luck.

Next time you hear it, write down the radio station and what time you heard it at and go to Loading YES.com.... You can enter your zip code and it shows a listing of all radio stations in that Zip. Click on the radio station you heard it on and they give a listing of every song played on that station. Try to check the site within 24 hours of hearing the song on the radio.

Is it "Happy Jack" by the Who? Good tip Kim; didn't know that, thanks.
