Default Unidentified song -- have lyrics

Hey, I'm new to the forum so I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly (let me know if I'm wrong). Attached is the beginning portion of a song, but I can't find its title or who it's by. Does anyone else know?

Where do I take it when it’s over?
    It’s all over now.
    Leave room for worry
    Always worrying somehow.
Distance traveled seems much less now
    That I have arrived
Everything I do wrong helps me know I’m alive

If love didn’t mean that much
Then why am I lyin’ on the ground
If I cared for the future, why do I always turn around

Don’t wanna remember but I’m always livin’ in the past
It all meant so much, but now it’s been forgotten so fast
Stood in the spotlight but I really didn’t let it shine on me
Twenty-five years come again, then maybe you’ll see.
Well I still hope, I still wonder, I may still be alone
Quick to draw conclusions from the delusions and
    The seclusions at home

    Thanks,
    Kim

    Default Does anyone know?

I've been trying to find this song for a bit now, and I was just curious -- if you don't immediately know what the song is, do you have any suggestions as to finding it myself?

    Thanks,
    Kim

    Need more info
Is it a man, woman or group that sings the lyrics
Is it style country, rock, jazz, etc.
What is the period of the music (1970's, 1980's, etc)

    Default Song Details

I have the song, and I transcribed lyrics to it, but I lack details in terms of what it actually is: year, title, etc.

A man sings, though there are multiple instruments involved. In terms of style, it sounds like something similar to Green Day. However, there's no percussion I could identify. Guitar, rockish, but not heavy metal.

    Does that help at all?
