there's this song called "all by myself" by sy'rai...the beat at the beginning...it's derived from an old-school song...what's it called?

I'm not familiar with the artist, Sy'rai.
Do you have a sample you can post?

The song is In The Mood, I think. It was recorded numerous times, by the Glenn Miller band, and Bette Midler, etc...

Yeah, without more info, there's too many covers of "In The Mood" or "All By Myself" and too many "newer" songs with the title "All By Myself" to narrow it down (e.g., Eric Carmen's version).

    Default No...

No, what I mean is: I have heard the song "All by myself" by Sy'rai featuring rosette, and I am quite sure that the melody at the begining is based on the jazz standard "In the mood". The closest version of In the Mood to the melody at the begining of "All by myself" by Sy'rai is done by Glenn Miller, but there are others.

    Thanks for the clarification.
Do y'all have any bio info on Sy'rai?
I cannot find anything on the Internet.
