Looking for the name of this song and who sung it.

It's got to be at least ten years old.

Sung by an African-American woman with a very deep voice. It's techno music.

All I remember are two phrases:

    "He's my brother...:

    "Be my lover"

and I think....*think*...that there was a phrase in there, "Been a long time, been a long time, been a long time," but I"m not sure of that.

It's not LaBouche's Be my Lover

    Thanks for any help.

    No, that's not it.

Sung by an African-American woman with a low voice - lower than Collins!

    Techno music!

Now he's in control he is my lover
Nations stand against him he's your brother
Been a long time, been a long time now
    I'll get to you somehow

    Glad I could help!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure if an international protocol has been developed regarding the use of exclamation points. However, if someone form the Keyboard Police comes to your door... Don't answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!
