there was this song i used to listing to always, by a girl who know who, but I remeber it has the words like ".... one is one" or "one by one" or "one on one"
any help would be greatfully accepted!

I can help you even more! Yes Robert Miles made a disco version, but the original song is by Edyta Gorniak. A polish singer she only edited one album in english language and this song is from that album. Believe me that you will love the original as soon as you hear it. If you´re lucky you may still find the video-clip on emule.
