Can't remember who sang this, does anybody know the lyrics snippet below?
>> ... changed the price on a dress
>> ... [get me] in such a bloody mess
It was sung with a British accent, probably by a male, but from a female point of view. It more rhyming-talking than singing. It wasn't the chorus, and I don't think it was a verse either. Possibly a bridge.
The song was most likely from the late 70's or maybe early 80's. That bit above, at least, was supposed to be mildly humorous. Not sure if the rest of it was.
Thanks,
Sylvia
