thanks anyway atmaster but that is not the one. the tune/tone is more elvis costello but with a female/male duet lead. i'm not sure elvis is a good reference or not. off the top of my head. but it's definitely alternative upbeat - semi punk. almost elmo/patsy but faster. again, thanks anyway. - brian

What I should have said was that Carolyn Mark is the original artist of "The Christmas Song" which can be found on the "IT'S A TEAM MINT XMAS VOL 2" album (2004). I did not find a cover vrsion of the song by another artist.

my mistake - googled it and listened to a sample on cduniverse. listened to the wrong sample. there are two songs with that title on that cd and if you look at my other reply you'll see it was 4am when i checked it out. guess i'd better give the 26er's a rest ! (;> thanks for your persistence. the carolyn mark version is the one i have. my old computer with it on the hard drive crashed without a backup and the cd i burned the song on didn't have any artist/title data that the new computer could read. well, that's one mystery solved. now i just need to find out about "MERRY F***ING CHRISTMAS TO YOU ". thanks again atmaster. happy holidaze to you.
