There was a rock song in the 80's I believe, that had the continuing line," can you hear me?" in it . It was a band with a male lead and he was singing a song that had to do with his country being invaded and talked of resistance to the authorities, "swearing allegiance to the flag, any flag they offer", and the fact that he was "with the High Command", a resistance movement. The song ended with the theme that our children would someday win freedom.

Can anyone name that song and band? Thanks and Happy New Year!
