Can anyone help me out i was watchin' the real world denver the other day and on the one show with Colie is talking to Davis about Alex and how she can't believe she had feelings for him etc.

Its kinda up beat like a rock song and the singer of it kinda reminds me of Steve Tyler from Aerosmith or it might be him i'm not sure..

There's a Burt Bacharach song called "I'll Never Fall In Love Again" that was originally recorded by the Carpenters and Dione Warwick in the 1970's. There are recent covers of that song by Mary Chapin Carpenter and Elvis Costello. This song's lyrics are a near perfect match for your request.
