Help to identify an instrumental song

Hi,

I have an instrumental song that I'd like to identify, unfortunately all I have is an MP3 with no useful tag information that I can see (I checked using iTunes and by viewing information on the file).

Does anyone know if there's any other information I can access from the file that the person who ripped it couldn't have easily edited?

I've tried Tunatic but the song wasn't in the database.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

If you play it in RealPlayer, you have a better chance of revealing any tagged data. If it doesn't, the data was probably lost in the ripping process. There is software available to edit, reveal, etc the tags or metadata in your file. If interested, just google mp3 tags or mp3 metadata and you'll be on your way.
