Song from 2002 version of "Carrie"

I've seen both versions, and my fav part in each one is when Carrie and Tommy slow-dance at the prom with that slow song playing. There's no soundtrack for the '02 version and no lyrics on this site from the '76 version, but I do know the title of the ballad from that version, "I Never Thought Someone Like You Could Love Someone Like Me" by Katie Irving, and a link would be helpful. As for the second film, I know some of the words to the slow song. It's maybe a pop or pop-rock song and a woman sings it. Here are the words I know:
